Have anyone tried typepad?

I have heard many positive reviews and suggestions on typepad. Is anyone in this forum use typepad (either free or paid) platform for blogging? If yes, what do yu suggest is better than blogger and wordpress, etc.if u have already used it please share your experiece.. I am planning to host a blog on typepad based on your suggestions.

I didnt know typad had a paid version until i visited their site. I didnt use it ever but i know that marketing guru seth godin's blog is on typad.. he gets massive hits..omg, you should check it out. I still dont know why he chose to stick with a subdomain and not his own.

typad is good but i wouldnt say it is better than Wordpress. Although, few popular people like seth godin runs his blog on typad, wordpress still has the lead. Feel free to host your blog on typad lonelyheartz, but personally i would recommened wordpress since most use it.

I never heard typepad however i visited the site and seen it looks as wordpress with clean themes.Their is fees but for wordpress its almost free and have good support in forums even here too.

They seem to have a simple to use platform and a great community, however I don't think anything will surpass wordpress in terms on the additions (plugins and themes) available.
